The Brugel litigation service deals with complaints against the energy market company and offers free assistance to the people of Brussels. Despite being proficient, this service remains little known and too few consumers are aware of the support available to them.
Due to the lack of visibility of its litigation service, Brugel asked VO Citizen to put together a communication strategy and mass media campaign aimed at:
- Promoting the existence of this service as one that is easy and fast, dealing with requests free of charge and issuing binding decisions
- Informing and reminding citizens that they have rights to make claims
- Increasing BRUGEL's reputation
VO Citizen brought a touch of quirkiness to the neat world of Brugel's litigation service. Starting with an original creative concept, an ambitious poster campaign was created (OOH, radio, Facebook and Google Display). From its external perspective, VO Citizen used humour to raise the profile of the conflicts between energy consumers and suppliers and the distribution network operator.
This offbeat, dynamic communication strategy ultimately reached 187,246 people on Facebook.
